Biopesticides and biocontrol: the PGPR bacteria approach
ALGOFERT-BIO® is first and foremost a biofertilizer. Its PGPR strains are also studied for biocontrol activity, to naturally protect crops without chemical pesticides.
What is biocontrol?
Biocontrol covers plant protection methods based on natural mechanisms, such as competition with pathogens in the rhizosphere.
Ongoing research
The LP2VM laboratory team (USTO-MB) continues its work to document these effects and prepare regulatory validation.
