PGPR biofertilizers: a natural alternative to chemical fertilizers
ALGOFERT-BIO® is a range of microbial biofertilizers developed in Oran (USTO-MB) from consortia of native Algerian PGPR bacteria, for more sustainable agriculture.
Native PGPR bacteria
PGPR (plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria) colonize the rhizosphere. Our consortia come from Algerian strains adapted to local soils and climate.
Results under real conditions
Greenhouse and field trials, notably on barley, showed gains in stem height, grains per ear and yield under the experimental conditions tested.
